Posh Nosh Market

I suggested dinner at Posh Nosh Market in downtown Plano with some friends Saturday night before we headed to Plano Super Bowl for some bowling! I've recently heard about this place and really wanted to try it. It reminded me of Eataly in NYC a little bit. And their specials on facebook always sounds so good.

Posh Nosh Market

Plano, TX 75074

Price: $

Apparently they've been around for over a year but recently changed management? How come I've never known about it? It is a retail shop and restaurant in one. And they've got some interesting stuff like bacon soda?!! Whoa! I'll have to try that sometime.

You order at the counter and everything is assembled to order. The people there are all so nice and very attentive to each order... (which made it kind of slow to get everything but I appreciate the time they put into every dish). They also let you sample everything... awesome!

I got the Build Your Own Salad (romaine, arugula, grape tomatoes, red onions, artichokes, avocado, egg, bacon, roasted corn, red peppers, mushrooms, with infused olive oil) $6.99~
Freaking huge salad! And all the toppings are included in the price (except for extra proteins). It was really fresh and all the toppings were great. I had to take half the salad to go cuz it was so big...

They have a section where you can choose a main plus 2 sides for $9.99. My friend opted to just get 2 sides. Mac & Cheese Ball and some sort of Ham Pasta Salad.
The 2 together was only $4.80ish~ and it was a lot of food. These dishes are all premade and then reheated. But still good. The fried mac and cheese was yummy. And the pasta salad was also very good. Quite interesting.. it had flavors of a potato salad. It was enough to be a full meal.

Another friend got the Build Your Own Burger (with side of sweet potato fries) $10ish~
Best deal of the night. The burger was massive and he put everything and the kitchen sink on top. hahaha. From avocado to pepperjack cheese to mushrooms to bacon... So Good! The beef patty was super thick and so juicy. The burger had sooo much flavor!! And the buns held up to all the ingredients. Outstanding! The sweet potato fries were really good as well. Sooo much food!

They also have baked goods like cookies and cupcakes there as well as a gelato bar. The gelato was high quality and lots of variety of flavors.

It was a really cute place. Good food, large portions, fresh, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Plus the people were so nice. Very accommodating and I think the head chef or owner or manager? came by to check on everyone during our meal.
